A former executive vice president and partner with Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, Randy opened the company's Atlanta office in 1989 and over the next ten years built it into one of the city's largest public relations firms. During his tenure there, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named him one of Atlanta's top marketing-driven public relations executives and "Big Idea Person."
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Randy expanded the food division of one of Atlanta's largest independent agencies, A. Brown-Olmstead & Associates. Previously, as director of communications for Canada Dry, he created the company's first communications department. He had earlier worked three years for Atlanta's largest public relations firm, Cohn & Wolfe, where he led the Chick-fil-A, Grolsch Importers, Ford Motor Company, and Milton Bradley account teams. From 1980 to 1983, he served as director of public relations and associate director for The National Kidney Foundation of Georgia. While at the foundation, he helped conceptualize "A Taste of Atlanta," which grew into one of Atlanta's largest fund-raising events.
